Expensive toys and classical music are not necessarily the only way to help your kids learning new skills, but you can help your children to develop their brain from very simple things in your daily life such as from singing, story tell to make them laugh. The first years of a child is a very important time to help them learn everything that they can learn and ensure development into the right direction. Perhaps, you may not pay attention to the following simple things, but the suggestions below will really help your little babies becoming smarter kids.
1) Eye contact: Look straight into the eyes of your kid whenever he/she wakes up. This helps improving your kid’s memory.
2) Longer breast-feeding: Statistics had proven that children who have been given breast-feeding for a period of 12 months or longer often have a higher IQ ratio. This is especially true when parents spend more time with their kids.
3) Look at the mirror: Your baby thinks the person in the mirror is another child. Hence, feeling delightful, smile and wave hands to his/her 'friend'
4) Take advantage of nappy changing times to teach your babies each part of their body or the clothes that they are wearing.
5) Before doing something, for example, turning off light. Let your child know that 'I am going to turn off the light'. This simple lesson will teach your child about cause and effect.
